About Tara Ebbs, PA-C

Tara Ebbs, PA-C began her career in public service before entering medicine. After starting in firefighting in California in 2001, she quickly realized her calling was clinical care. She became an EMT and then a paramedic, serving in both rural Northern California and Santa Clara County for over a decade. Those years built a foundation in high-acuity decision-making, patient advocacy, and calm leadership under pressure.

She later graduated from the Stanford School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program and has practiced as a physician assistant since 2012. Throughout her career, she has worked across multiple specialties, including Level I trauma and emergency medicine, orthopedic-trauma surgery, urgent care, pediatric emergency care, psychiatry, pain management, neurology, aesthetics, and integrative medicine. This broad exposure allowed her to develop a comprehensive understanding of complex medical conditions and the importance of individualized treatment planning.

Over time, Tara developed a focused passion for treating migraines and complex headache disorders. Her experience in emergency medicine, pain management, neurology, and procedural care uniquely positions her to approach migraine treatment from multiple angles — combining targeted Botox therapy, medication optimization, and structured lifestyle support. She is especially driven to help patients who have tried multiple treatments without lasting relief.

Today, migraine care represents a central focus of her clinical work. She is committed to delivering structured, evidence-based treatment plans designed to reduce migraine frequency, severity, and disruption — with the goal of restoring clarity, consistency, and quality of life.

Outside of clinical practice, Tara enjoys time with her family, friends, and life on the farm.
